Managing Consultant – Enterprise Information Practice

Managing Consultants are key "field marshals" of the practice: through billable client roles they mentor and lead younger consultants (2 – 4 individuals), manage key client relationships, and are responsible for project quality and delivery. Internally, they are expected to drive solution definition, be primary point of contact for software partners, and become visible subject matter contributors/experts via public speaking, authoring publications, and participating in relevant professional associations.

Additional specifications and requirements:
Bachelor's degree required. MIS or Computer Science degree preferred, but not imperative.
4-6 years of IT management consulting experience required. Prior experience managing client delivery and project teams required. Proven experience defining consulting solutions is mandatory.
No certifications are required, but several are attractive: Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP), Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), various certifications from data integration and BI applications (Informatica, IBM Infosphere, Business Objects, ERWin, MicroStrategy, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
Technology utilized includes: CA ERWin, various Data Quality solutions (Informatica PowerCenter, IBM InfoSphere [datastage, qualitystage, etc.], Trillium, others), MS Office solutions, SQL Query Analyzer and other query tools.
Ability to travel up to 100 percent of the time.
